At the supermarkets and bazaars
At the
supermarkets and bazaars
Life changes every day, so many new and
unknown surround us on all sides! What only yesterday we did not know, or could
only hear the stories of the capital's residents quickly enters into our lives
and becomes a standard. Computers, Internet, mobile phones — something our
grandparents during their youth did not even know, for us was the everyday environment.
There and now are not such shops as before. All the more we have huge
shopping-supermarkets where you can buy everything. And it is wonderful! I was
wondering about the meaning of these changes, when once again we went to the
nearest supermarket-shopping for the New Year. In the spacious hall on the
countless rows of shelves you can find everything you want. While mom and dad
have chosen products to the New Year’s table, various cheeses, cold meats,
canned goods, and much more, I gazed down incredulously at enthusiastically
decorated with shiny ribbons shelves with candies. I love sweet and always ask
parents to buy me a chocolate bar or cake. But then my eyes ran away! Lots of
colorful boxes seductively handsome around. It is really a choice for every
taste! Having reached the end of the series and decided to leave the right to
choose treats adults, I was near aquariums. There were swarmed by crayfish,
multicolored fish swam. And buyers could choose one that looks at them.
Of
course we can’t image Uzbek life without Uzbek bazaars. Since ancient times
cities of Uzbekistan have been famous with their bazaars. Babur wrote in Baburname about bazaars of Samarkand, Bukhara
and Andijan. He said such things: “
Andijan is the centre of Fergana. Fruits and meals are a lot there. Andijan is
famous with his delicious melons and grapes.Bukhara has a lot of areas. Fruits
are really delicious there. Bukhara collects a nice and delicious melon harvest
in Maverennahr.Samarkand is a really clean city. It has one thing that no-one
else has. Each artisan has its own trade row. They don’t interfere with each
other and this is a very good tradition. The most skilled bakers and cooks are
there. Samarkand produces the most high-quality paper in the world…”
All
that was said Babur is true. If you’re looking for beauty, cleanliness and
order on Uzbek bazaars you can appreciate the beauty of Uzbekistan. We’ll glad
to see you in our bazaars. So Welcome to Uzbekistan!
